914-6 GT Rear Vented Rotors, OEM, NOS, Pair - pn 911.352.041.03

PICKED UP by ARMANDO in Fall City on 02/27/2018 I had already picked-up one of the two vented rotors which we needed at home to mock-up the Rally brake system. The one picked up today was the other to complete the pair.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE! Porsche 914-6 GT 'Rally' Rear Vented Disc Rotors (pn 911.352.041.03). These are the actual vented disc rotors used in the Porsche built "Rally" cars, they are provisioned to use the 911 parking brake (shoe expandable mechanism) and these discs rotors themselves are at a minimum 5mm larger in diameter than the standard road-racing 914-6 GT rear vented discs. The discs off-set appears to be the same so there is NO need to use shims or spaced either the disc rotor or caliper to be dead-center.

Note to self: Per Bernie Buschen, upon mocking-up these GT rally vented rotors on a rear trailing control arm, the 914-6 GT rear caliper did not fit, the 5mm larger diameter Rally vented rotors I have were hitting the inside curved section of the 914-6 GT spaced calipers. The Porsche solution, while using these Rally vented Rotors was to also use a "911 M" caliper. We confirmed all of this while also using a 911 M caliper, the larger 914-6 GT 'rally' vented disc rotor was simply a 'spot-on' fit.
