With TFA from late 1971 to late 1972. Did sensor data base update, plot orbits for Vampires to fly over trail, converted UTM coordinates to Lat Long for TFA commander, and spent several weeks out with some EOD people setting off C-4 to test sensors in locating NVA artillery. NKP and TFA was a Direct Duty Assignment from basic training I had no training for what I did there except about two weeks with the guy I replaced. I had a just gotten a degree in engineering, had bad eye sight, and enlisted in the Air Force to avoid getting drafted into the Army. One of the best decisions I ever made.
