Cao-Đai Temple

Caodaism or Đai Cao is officially on September 7, 1926 established religion in South Vietnam. Estimates the number of followers vary strongly, where the majority of two to three million indicates that other sources but eight million believers in Viet Nam. After Buddhism and Catholicism , it is the third largest religion in the country. Through emigration, there are approximately 30,000 Caodaisten in the United States, Europe and Australia.

In Da Nang we lived down the lane from the local Cao Dai temple for about 5 months. I miss the gentle gong at the specified times - including at 4a.m. The full moon was particularly dynamic.
