Kodachrome A Day 2007

Film is becoming a thing of the past as more and more people switch to digital photography. Kodak has been phasing out the different speed films of Kodachrome. Once there was 25, 64 and 200 speed films. Now there’s only 64. And there’s only one place in the world that even does the K-14 processing for Kodachrome anymore. David Mingay (vid64) and I thought it might be fun (and even wise) to shoot a few last rolls of Kodachrome before it’s gone.

My Kodachrome project lasted from March 18th to April 18th 2007, concurrant to my regular PAD.
It all started with two rolls of Kodachrome but I ended up using a total of five rolls of film.
I shot using a Pentax K1000 with only a Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm lens.
I'm posting the best shots of each day (sometimes more!) here, once a day.

Great series!
I still exclusively using film for all my photos and just received 2 Kodachrome roles (35mm) from Dwayne’s Photo, will present them after scanning. Unfortunately, December ’10 is supposed to be the last period of time for using this wonderful film.

Great to see some of these at last! I'm guessing these are your scans rather than those from Dwaynes. How do they compare?
