This 49mm adapter is made from 1.5" schedule 40 PVC coupling, it is made for a Casio EX-Z120 but should fit similar Casio cameras.
This is what I call a rubber band adapter. No drilling, no gluing the 49 mm screws right into the coupling. You need just a PVC schedule 40 1.5" coupling (about a dollar) A miter box with a saw, file, sandpaper, wire, pliers and of cause rubber bands and a 49mm filter that you are willing to sacrifice. Cut the PVC to 7/8" in length, the rest should be self explanatory.

PS. In the pictures I have not yet had the hart to break out the glass in ND filter, maybe after the bar opens.
