I have been a working black and white large format photographer for more than 15 years. I still expose and develop film according the zone system. Today - a Macintosh computer, Epson scanner, Photoshop and an HP printer fitted with Vivera inks have replaced my enlarger, trays, and drying racks. These new technologies allow me to create images that rival the traditional print in quality and longevity.
Much of what I do, creatively adjusting the image, remains the same. If anything the new technologies allow me to further control the quality of my work. There are no "fake" skies or "borrowed" trees in any of my images. I believe the best photograph is one that's found not made.
The prints I sell on this website are the same I hang in galleries. If mounted, matted, and displayed under glass they have a rated life over 100 years by Wilhelm Laboratries - the only recognized laboratory testing materials for all major printer manufacturers.
I offer a "no worries" warranty with all prints. All prints include a certificate of authenticity. If you're unhappy with the print you receive, I'll refund your money less shipping. You might consider ordering a small print to see if you really like the image. If you'd like the print in a larger print size, contact me and your original purchase price (less shipping) will be deducted from the cost of the larger print- its just that simple.
Three sizes of "loose" prints with white borders are available on this site - 5x7", 8x10", and 11x14". The prints are electronically signed on the border. When viewing a print, simply click the Paypal link at the bottom of the page to add that print to a shopping cart. All prices include shipping and handling for US customers - international customers please email me for pricing.
I also offer mounted or mounted and matted prints for a very modest price. Mounted or matted prints are trimmed to the image and hand signed on the acid free museum quality mounting board. Please contact me via email for sizes and pricing. I do not sell framed prints. To be honest, framing a print yourself locally is far less expensive than having one safely shipped to you.
I hope you enjoy your visit to my galleries!
