Fat Pika #3 stove and stand

This is a large version of my Pika stove built with two Foster beer cans. It can easily boil 2 quarts of water, 3qts if needed, or even a cup of tea at sunset. I built this stove and stand for Alistair and Gail, an adventurous Calgary Canadian couple, for their journey down the Continental Divide Trail in 2006. They gave it an incredible field test under severe trail conditions, and it never let them down or go hungry. They told me it can boil water faster than an MSR-XGK stove, and that's pretty neat! It is well known as Fat Pika #3.
