the first 5 were all taken within 40 minutes... ran... later looked over and saw a 70 foot cliff a foot to my left... move 6 inches right and said... concentrate on shooting, but dont forget where you are... as in most of these moment i also rushed every few minutes to delete some old image i like to have on the card.... bad not to have available space...

Hello Donald, your work on lighthouses is truely inspirational and I have followed suit with our own lighthouse. OK, it is not the Portland Head Lighthouse but I can only assume that the magnetic attraction to our own little corners on the edge of the world (as far as solid ground goes) are similar. The stunning light has been well captured. Well done!

Heceta head claims it is the most photographed also. It is located on the Central Oregon Coast. It isn't near as big a population center as Portland.
